Chromebooks
New Students & Incoming 3rd Graders
Steps to receive your student device (Spanish/Espanol):

3. New 6th-12th grade students only: Pay for optional insurance online or by cash or check. See below for device insurance information.

Returning Students in 4th & 5th Grades
Your Chromebooks will be stored at school. No new paperwork or insurance is required for this year.
Returning Students in 6th-12th Grade
Sixth graders will turn in their Chromebooks to their teachers at the end of the school year. When they enter 7th grade, they will receive a new device.
Students in grades 7-12 will be keeping their Chromebooks during summer break. Be sure to bring your Chromebook back, fully charged for the start of the school year.
For students receiving a new Chromebook this year, you can pick up your new Chromebook during orientation days. See communication from your building for further details on these dates/times. You must turn in your old Chromebook before you will receive your new device.
You may wish to buy optional insurance through the link below. This is an annual fee.
Chromebook Insurance
For your convenience, you can purchase Chromebook insurance online with a credit card. There are two different platforms, depending on the school year you wish to purchase insurance for:
- Chromebook insurance for 2024-25: Pay through RecPro
- Chromebook insurance for 2025-26: Pay through DaySmart/Dash
