About Mr. Anderson

Mr. Anderson received his Master's Degree in Educational Leadership from Grand Valley State University and his Bachelor's Degree (Summa Cum Laude, Lee Honors College Associate) in Elementary Education with emphasis in Social Sciences from Western Michigan University.

 

Before teaching IMAGE students, he taught at Cummings Elementary and East Elementary in Grandville.

 

Four years experience as a program coordinator for cardiovascular health education in schools through Spectrum Health's Healthier Communities department

Two years experience teaching 5th grade at Dansville Schools

Seven years experience leading youth group activities at Georgetown United Methodist Church

Completed the 28-mile 2013 Megatransect ultramarathon mountain trail hike over Bald Eagle Mountain in Lock Haven, Pennsylvania

Born and raised in Michigan's Upper Peninsula

Husband to Melanie, father to Hope and Noah
