About Mr. Bearup
Mr. Bearup joined Grandville in July 2015. He received a Master's Degree in Educational Leadership from Western Michigan University and a Bachelor's Degree in Science Education from Central Michigan University. He also received a Central Office Endorsement Certification and a Central Office Enhancement Certification.
He began his education career as a second grade teacher and eventually an elementary principal in Kent City. He then moved to Lowell Area Schools as an assistant superintendent in curriculum, instruction, and assessment for 10 years.
Mr. Bearup is the proud father of daughter Abbie and son Josh, both in their twenties. He has lived in Grandville with his wife, Kim, for the past eight years.
