Updating Contact Information in PowerSchool
Instructions for Updating Parent Contact Information in PowerSchool
If you have an active account, you can update your email and phone number. However, you cannot change your home address. You must contact your child's school secretary if you have an address change.
For Parents with an Active Parent Portal Account
- Log in to your PowerSchool account.
- On the main page, from the list of buttons on the left, click Forms.
- Under the General Forms tab, click Census Verification Form.
- Enter or update all information, including emergency contact information at the bottom of the form.
- Once complete, click Submit in the bottom right corner.
Be sure to complete the form for each of your students. You can select another child under your account by clicking their name at the top left corner of the screen.
For Parents without a Parent Portal Account
- Contact your child's school office to obtain the Access ID and password for your enrolled students at Grandville.
- Go to the PowerSchool website.
- Click on the Create Account tab, and then click the Create Account button.
- Enter all pertinent information, including email address, desired password for your account, and the Access ID and password information you were provided for your student. The Access ID and password are case sensitive.
- Once you have completed the account creation process, you will receive an email at the address you provided that confirms your account is ready. Check your junk/spam inbox if you don't receive it.
- Log in to PowerSchool.
- On the main page, from the list of buttons on the left, click Forms.
- Under the General Forms tab, click Census Verification Form.
- Enter or update all information, including emergency contact information at the bottom of the form.
- Once complete, click Submit in the bottom right corner.
Be sure to complete the form for each of your students. You can select another student under your account by clicking their name at the top left corner of the screen.
