Grandville High School is thrilled to announce its upcoming production of "The Addams Family" musical, set to take place at the GHS Auditorium. It will run from Thursday, April 24, through Sunday, April 27, 2025.
"The Addams Family" musical, with music and lyrics by Andrew Lippa and a book by Marshall Brickman and Rick Elice, brings the iconic, kooky yet loving Addams family to the stage in a brand-new story. Wednesday Addams has fallen in love with a “normal” boy, Lucas Beineke, and now struggles to introduce him and his very traditional parents to her eccentric family. Chaos ensues when the families meet for dinner, leading to a night of secrets, misunderstandings and unexpected revelations. With Gomez caught between his daughter and his wife, Morticia, and Uncle Fester meddling with the help of ghostly ancestors, the musical explores themes of love, acceptance and embracing one’s true self — all with the Addams’ signature dark humor and charm.
